Here is a simple recipe for a deliciously moist apple cake with caramelized edges, with a reasonable sugar amount.

Instructions
- Heat up oven on BAKE, at 410F.
- Butter the mould generously and sprinkle with sugar all over. reserve in the fridge.
- Prepare the Apples. Peel and cut in tiny chunks, or grate coarsely. the thiner the better. reserve.
- Melt the butter and let cool down.
- Meanwhile whisk eggs, sugar and vanilla vigorously. Then add melted butter, rum, flour, baking powder and salt. combine. Add the apples.
- Pour the cake mix into the mould and BAKE on 410F for 12 min. Then lower temp to 350F and further cook for 10min.
- Remove the mould as soon as you can and let it cool down at room temp. Enjoy!!!
